There are reports that millions of websites have been affected till now by a malicious code attack named LizaMoon. Those who are professional in the field of cyber security are trying to decode it but they have not succeeded yet. The LizaMoon virus is seeking publicity due to its speed because this malware affects vigorously in no time and gives user less time. Reportedly, as many as 4 million websites have been victim of this malware and the number is still rising.
The good news is that those who have built-in software safeguards are less affected from it. Apple’s iTunes store is designed to automatically neutralize these sorts of code attacks so there is no danger for the iTunes users and they are safer but there are many other big sites who have become victims and the officials there are saying that they are trying to cope the situation. Still, there are some links being seen on iTunes website. Though, they are not working yet, the Websense officials are making people aware of these links.
The company says that this is the first time when they have noticed a very big thing like this which is affecting lots of sites and so they want to make people conscious about this. If you have security software installed in your system then, you should not get worried about it as it means you are safer from this SQL code injection attack. If you visit an infected site, it will lead you to another rogue site which asks you to download some antivirus programs as your system has been infected.
