How to LAN and WAN networks enable routing on Windows 2003

This article explains how to access local and wide area networks enable routing. It is designed for LAN administrators, Windows administrators and students prepare written Windows Server 2003 certifications. It may be useful for people studying for the CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification exam.
The first step in using the Routing and Remote Access and Remote Access service is to enable the routing function at the local and wide area interfaces wanted. To do this, follow these steps: Step 1: Open the Routing and Remote Access MMC (Microsoft Management Console).
Step 2: Click the right mouse button on the name of the server for which you want to enable the routing function, and then click Properties Step 3: Under the General tab, select the check box to enable this server as a router, and then do one of the following:
