Facebook has a plethora of privacy settings that let you deny access at various to levels to Facebook users including your own friends. But there are times when you may not be fully aware of what Facebook might be doing with your own profile. Once such instance is that henceforth Facebook will start using your photos in Facebook’s social ads that will appear on the profile page of your contacts. It’s legal and it is mentioned in their Privacy Policy when you create an account with Facebook.

- Go to your Account Settings > Facebook Ads
- From the menu option “Allow ads on platform pages to show my information to” Select “No one”
- You may also scroll down to further Select “No one” from “Show my social actions in Facebook Ads to” option as well.
